So I've finally gotten to the part of Bones that includes the character "Roxy." I am so freaking pissed off. This is exactly what pissed me off regarding Willow and Tara - two people break up for no real reason, other than the producers want some random, forced lesbian action.
Why can't they ever have main characters start off in a lesbian relationship? At least they admit that Angela's bisexual, as opposed to BtVS saying that Willow "turned" gay.

It just annoys the hell out of me. And Angela and Hodgins were so good for each other; just at the end of the last season, he learned what she needed from him. It was her stupidity and impulsiveness that ruined their relationship; you'd think she'd remember that she was still married - especially because the FBI internal interviewer brought it up. Seriously? It's stupid.

And I miss Zack. That was a poor, poor decision (yet a decent plot twist). I'm hopeful that he'll be back, since his hands are (when he shows up in s4) up to 60%, which suggests that he's healing well, and he admitted to not really being a killer, and Sweets also explained that Zack can't get out of the institution until he "admits his delusion" - suggesting that, if he 'surpasses his delusions' he will be released. So, perhaps the producers will decide to write him back in permanently. They've left it as a possibility.

In any case, I'm just so sick and tired of the "let's ruin a perfectly good relationship for no reason at all so that we can open up to a wider audience and/or show off some hot chicks kissing." If they wanted the lesbian relationship for the sake of a lesbian character, then they would have had that happen initially. No, they did what shows always do: bring in the male-fantasy when they want to spice things up.

Still to do before grades are due:

-Edit Greek Paper.
--Try to not be too annoyed at professor's stupid comments. Just do them.

-Write other research paper, for L.O.

-Start packing up things for move-out.

-Do standard week-to-week homework before Saturday.
--Folks are coming in. Possibly send them home with some things that I don't need any more, so that there's less for me to pack up at the end.

-Anything else?

OMG CRAZY ADVENTURE

My friend/suitemate just came in and told me I should write about it. We're gonna go out in a bit.

And she says that she probably shouldn't strip in the hallway. I'm not so sure.

Now getting ready to make an entry that's my to-do-list.

He ended up emailing the paper to me. Man, he's a fucking stickler for stupid things. Ugh. I hate it.
If I had to do it all over again, I would NOT take this class. I was hoping for more Greek mythology in the mix, but it's more specifics and...erg, I don't even know. It just makes me angry. I hate that class so much. And, while my prof seems like he might be a neat, interesting person outside of class, he is a TERRIBLE professor. Terrible!

No wonder the only comments you ever hear about him on campus is that he's good looking.

My professor said he'd have my paper (with comments) for me, outside of his office, by Wednesday. It's Thursday, and it's not there. Oooookay.

Hooooomygod. So good. Sooooo gooooood.

The Underworld prequel, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is amazing. Completely perfect. There wasn't a single thing I would change about it. It had the same actors, the proper storyline, and was wonderful. I love it. So much.

I just finished watching it, and I'm a little shaky from happy-movie-ness. (Not that the movie was happy, because it's really quite sad.) Absolutely fabulous. 10/10, definitely.

I'm getting it on DVD as soon as it comes out. <3

I've finished my Greek paper. Now I just have to do the rest of everything. But I'm getting closer. <3

I baked tonight.

I love baking. I really, really do. Tonight, I made what my friends fondly dubbed the "Chocolate Orgasm Cake" when I made it last year. Haven't eaten any yet, since I want to wait until we can all get together and have some, but I'm excited. <3

My new ankle brace is both good and bad. It provides good support and feels fine when I'm walking or standing.When I'm sitting and off it, however, my foot hurts. And when I first take it off, my foot hurts, as well. I don't know if it's that I'm realigning my foot to the way it needs to be, or if it's something else. Either way, it's annoying.

So I sent in my latest chapter to my professor. I'm getting there! I will graduate! Yes!

My sister totally rocks, btw. She gives me deadlines for when I have to read my new work to her. :) That means I get it done, get it fixed, and get it sent to my professor all in good time. <3

I've been sleeping terribly lately.

I don't know why, but I toss and turn, have horrid dreams, and (like now) wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. I hate it. It happened occasionally several years ago, but I figured I was done. D: LET ME SLEEP, body. I need to.

I keep thinking my ankle's all better

...but then it starts hurting again. I'm off the crutches now (THANK GOODNESS) and even went a day without my bandage. It seemed mostly fine, though I still limped a bit. But every now and then it just really freaking hurts. I am so annoyed at it, it's not even funny. Why won't the damn thing just heal and get it over with? Grrrrrrrrr.

Sent in my Xena chapter to my professor last night. That means I just have one more (shorter) chapter, the conclusion, and editing to do before the 24th. Considering how much I had to do just two weeks ago, this is nothing.

Except for the fact that I have two other major papers to write for other classes...Grrr.
